Kristy Scanlan is Head of Production for Tinseltown Toons, she oversees the development and production of all feature film under Threshold's deal to make 12 CGI animated feature films, to be distributed by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Currently, Kristy is producing two animated movies based on the highly successful Bionicle and LEGO toy franchises.
Prior to joining Threshold in 2002, Kristy ran feature film and television development for director Steve Miner (Halloween: H2O, Dawson's Creek) under his first-look deal with Miramax and Dimension Films. Before that, she served as VP of Development for producer Gale Anne Hurd (The Abyss, The Terminator) at Pacific Western Productions. She has developed such feature projects as Treasure Island with Walden Media, Aeon Flux and Clockstoppers for Paramount Pictures, Hulk for Universal Studios, and Training Day for Warner Bros. Pictures.
Kristy graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in Film Studies.
