Kids Fighting Hunger

In virtually every town and city around the world, there are people who go to bed hungry.

Some people go hungry in the shadows of our wealthiest communities; others live in the midst of natural disasters, wars or crushing poverty.

If we are to wipe out hunger once and for all, we must raise a generation that is not only highly sensitive to the plight of hungry people but that also refuses to tolerate any level of hunger.

The Foodfight! Foundation educates, motivates and enables healthy children to fight on behalf of hungry human beings. In this manner, they develop tangible skills and positive attitudes that make this generation more likely to defeat hunger.

The Foodfight! Foundation is a partnership between Threshold Animation Studios and America's Second Harvest (the largest hunger fighting organization in the country) with support and guidance from food and retail manufacturers represented in the film, Foodfight!. The concept behind the foundation is to create a meaningful connection between Foodfight! and concepts about nutrition and hunger-relief by setting into motion a series of "kids-helping-kids" food drives, corporate tie-ins and promotions across the country – with a simple goal, that will continue to be 'reset' each time it is achieved. For example, with the launch of the movie, the first goal might be: Feed 10 Million Kids.
